Here are ten things I’m loving in home decor right now, for anyone seeking some fresh inspiration and sources.
Candles
Candles that resemble fruit or vegetables, or hand-painted taper candles, are both so fun and unique compared to a simple beeswax candle (though I still love those too!).

Tiny Pillows
I’m loving the look of just one tiny pillow on a couch—that’s it! Just a little mini guy all by himself, without the extra plush, oversized cushions.
Tiny Artwork
In line with the theme of "tiny," I’ve been obsessed with miniature pieces of artwork framed with large matting. Bonus points if the frame and mat are in coordinating colors that complement the artwork.

Painted Ceilings
This has become a must in our home - ceilings should always be painted in my opinion! Whether you color-drench the entire room, paint the trim a contrasting color, or even opt for a different shade altogether, no ceiling should be left untouched.
Some examples from our home:
Hand Painted Folk Art Furniture
We watched a cheesy Christmas movie a few years ago and I can’t get a specific cabinet out of my mind. Good blues and reds in a floral pattern. Keeping my eye out for something similar or doing it myself.

Stripes
Wallpaper, dish towels, curtains, bedding - anything with stripes! Stripes are like denim, in my opinion - they go with everything.

Placemats
I’m on the hunt for some good placemats with cute patterns that can easily be thrown in the wash. They add such a cozy layer to a table - add a vegetable candle and you have a fancy dinner.

Tabletop Picture Frames
Think of your grandma’s piano - the tabletop picture frames that are probably layered on top of eachother. We need more family photos in our homes (atleast I do!). Everything’s been so focused on intricate gallery walls for years now—let’s bring the personal photographs back! And put them on surfaces instead of walls.

Bedskirts
I recently gave our Ikea bed frame a makeover with upholstery fabric on the headboard. Adding the finishing touch of a bedskirt gave the bed a totally different look. It’s a great way to add texture and coziness to a bedroom space without additional furniture. Bonus: it also hides clutter underneath the bed!

Pop of Red
I’m starting to believe that every room could benefit from a fresh pop of red. Let’s add it everywhere!
